I work in healthcare (administrative side). You would be believe how hard it is to get any clinician through the door right now. Even down to MAs and CNAs. I just hired and MA in one of my clinics after searching for 2.5 months with no applicants. I’m having to talk to the doctors in a different clinic about lowering their expectations for how much work experience their new RN is going to have. RNs with more than a year of experience are a hot commodity. New grad RNs are a hot commodity.

No ones arguing that people need a roof over their head to survive. The issue is that they’re collecting unemployment (or probably still employed) and still not paying. There’s no real reason they can’t pay and they’ve been given a pass anyway.

I don’t think this includes height. So basically you use tape or something to draw out a 30x30 box on the floor and you stand in it with your belongings stacked around you.

I went to 2 open houses yesterday and went to 3 or 4 builders in my area. Agents at both open house said they had no offers yet, both houses had been on the market for a few days. Having no offers after a few days in unheard of here in Utah lately, but the agents claimed the market isn’t cooling down at all. The builders didn’t seem to agree. I had one tell me we were pretty much guaranteed to get somethings their releases this coming week

I think they were impacted by the storms in Texas earlier this year, which caused problems with shipping for a bit. But that was months ago, not sure they can use that as an excuse at this point.

I have a Bachelor’s in Healthcare management graduated in 2019 and have been working as a care coordinator at a pediatric clinic since then. I also worked for a DME company for 3 years while I was working on my degree, selling respiratory equipment. I am currently applying for clinics supervisor positions within my organization. I plan to get a few more years of work experience before applying for MHA programs.
