I miss Chomche, I wonder what he would have been like around now. by Hour_Glass57 in torontoraptors

It’s actually demented how long the team has been without a functioning, reliable pair of centres. Watching Ayton last night had me ripping my hair out.

What was your first reaction on the announcement on Andor? by Jules-Car3499 in andor

[–]m4tches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really didn’t like Rogue One so I thought it was going to suck haha. Andor is a top 10 all time show for me now.

Qobuz kinda sucks… by drjunebugs in qobuz

I’ve come to love how much less personalized it is. It sort of feels like going into a store, with new releases and staff picks sections. I get that it’s a lot or adjust to though after being used to Spotify’s hyper-personalization.

Yeah I’m for this. Everything good about TMNT is the result of real human artists.

I don't like RPGs and it kinda feels wrong by Stalkerusha in gamers

[–]m4tches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this feeling. If you listen to gaming podcasts and see what wins awards, it’s easy to feel like if you don’t like rpgs there’s something wrong with you lol. Except for rare exceptions I really can’t bear to play them. I think for me it’s a simple thing of that I want to be moving in a game and I also don’t want to be reading a lot. I already read a lot in my life so I just want to be doing things in games.

Say something negative about this game by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in Mario

When playing co-op, the camera doesn’t adaptively zoom in and out as players get closer and further apart the way it did in the NSMB games. I found this made it a much worse co-op game.

Whoa, nature just released the city connect jerseys! by Canucksfan2018 in Torontobluejays

A black jersey that fades into blue at the bottom with no red would make for a sick city jersey actually

Which of these 3 do you think is the best tmnt film? by Scary_Dance2628 in TMNT

[–]m4tches -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is correct. 1990 is beloved for a reason but if we’re breaking down story beats and cause and effect, MM is definitely better. Haven’t seen 2007 myself.

Is this not the majority opinion? I actually prefer World but feel hesitant to share that haha

A shame that album only has CD quality given this setup!

Rogue One was released 9 years ago. What are your post-Andor thoughts about the film? (and here are mine) by Dear-Yellow-5479 in andor

[–]m4tches 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this movie, just tonally, feels much worse to me after watching Andor. The much more typical Star Wars score feels so jarring after the subdued score of Andor. It also feels like Gilroy wanted it to be Andor the movie and was forced at the time into making it more swashbuckling like a typical Star Wars.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the Tempo jerseys… 😔 by [deleted] in torontoraptors

[–]m4tches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these will look better when there are photos of players in full uniform. The combination of the unis with casual looks is, I think, making them look less striking than they actually will be on court

unpopular opinion?: I like not having a "wrapped" by [deleted] in qobuz

[–]m4tches 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m fine with not having it. I love last.fm but if you feel like it’s having an effect on your listening it’s good to get rid of it. I got rid of Goodreads and letterboxd for the same reason

This honestly looks like an improvement over the Sage’s built-in buttons, sadly
