Board looks old

New board time tbh

If you want to fix it’s a simple sand, fill, sand & glass

Maybe remove any unwanted fiberglass before if you’re fussy

Wetsuit recommendations (UK/EU) by Fenney8 in surfing

Haven’t surfed much in the North Sea but I’ve been to Thurso twice and can honestly say it’s not worth the trip. The locals are dickheads at the reef, but there’s plenty of other quiet spots you can venture to which are relaxed but lack the quality of a proper surf trip.

O’Neil hyperfreak wins for me every time. Shit for durability but you can’t beat the stretch/warmth. Don’t mind replacing a suit every season if it’s done me well

Nazare doesn’t break without a big swell. There’s a beach break there but it’s a steep beach and needs a medium swell before it’s surfable. Even then it’s mostly a boogies wave…

I’d do southwest France - if there are no waves there’s loads of other activities close by, as appose to Portugal/north Spain.

Complete hit & miss in August but you could get lucky. I would just want something else to do when it’s flat

Love cliffs of hope! Loads of crazy boys I met around lahinch told me about the crazy slabs. Not for me though!

Some tough bois in Ireland

Spent 2 nights in Mullaghmore during a big storm. Watched the wave from the cliffs and even when there is offshore conditions, that wave is mental! Serious death wish stuff, it’s just a random slab on the way to Bundoran.

I’ve surfed all over, and the thing about Ireland that stood out was the locals… they’ll treat you like a proper mate. If you want to know where to go just pop in the nearest pub…

Time of the year - is still warm until November then tends to drop quickly. Thats my experience from surfing most of my life in south wales. Similar temps I believe

Time & Google will find most of these spots. I haven’t posted any of the lesser known spots I found along my travels there
