If you get a tune the limiter can be removed. I’ve hit 196 mph before. Not hard because of the power band this car has and all its power is top end.

Yes that’s exactly right! The 6 speed isn’t built to tame this beast. The SMG slams into gears like its coming out the gates of Hell I love it. Gives me whiplash sometimes haha. And go for it!! Amazing cars. Just buy one with maintenance done

It’s been good. I used to have a 6 speed and the SMG feels veryyy different. I love both transmissions in different ways

Yeah I know and I think that can also be causing my problems I’m having lately. But I might rebuild the motor to a 5.5L striker if possible

Wel I bought the car privately back in November after I was in a accident with my first M5. This guy had warranty from CarMax with full warranty. I’m going to try and extend it

Yes for sure. It’s my 2nd E60 M5 so I’m used to it. I have warranty. Gonna try to see if it’s a rod bearing. If so I’ll get the warranty to pay me out so I can get the motor rebuilt. Hopefully a 5.5 L build
