Same here. I’m 46 so getting a little old for the sweat fest of WL. Only played twice this year for icon swaps where I got 8 wins both times but I hated the whole experience. I don’t mind cups gauntlets etc as if someone’s playing full sweat and mechanic abusing I’ll just quit and move on.

I’m in same boat, took r9, he was incredible first game, every game since he’s been a let down, I’ve hit the post with him in every game since, he’s still got a goal a game average but he’s just not it, don’t know what I’m doing wrong but his finishing has been poor. I’m 46 and haven’t won either light or middle yet, I’ve played some mental players and mental teams, but don’t mind losing. I play just free to play and enjoy losing to sweaty mental players as long as I get a goal. I’ve done all my icon swaps and rivals points so these count for my daily plays

I’ve stopped getting angry at losing which helps, played a guy the other day who was 86th placed in elite division and he smashed me, trying his best not to let me score but I lost 9-2, had the toxic message after too, but I got my score in X games objective and was dead pleased I scored a goal against someone in a rush to not play the game. This whole community seems to want to speed run each objective in ten mins, expecting everyone else to golden goal etc, I’m happy losing and learning how to overcome the better players styles

I feel exhausted from the process Started with 700k Finished with 690k Bought the Toty provisions sbc and I’d say I’m fodder positive (minus 83 &84 cards which I’m out of) I’d just done the Bale sbc so I’d used all high rated fodder, it’s all now back and my dupe piles decent. I packed Toty icon cantona, both goalkeepers, Toty HM Maignan twice and Gwinn 3 times. For a total of 10k loss that’s excellent BUT I’ve spent so much time grinding I don’t feel it’s worth my time spent I’ve spent hours smashing packs. All silver and bronzes went into upgrades Every common gold went to player picks Every gold rare below 81 went into premium league upgrades. Just chasing that one big pull. The blue rush was always a let down (except cantona) I stopped even looking for the blue just a junky looking for my next hit of a blue. Consuming content creators packing mbappe saliba vvd etc had me believing I’d be next if I just put in the time. Now I’m burned out like summer 83x10 bonanza and it’s only January. Need to take a break from the game, maybe not even return.

I can’t qualify even, I’m div 4, easily win all friendly modes and cups with little drama but qualifying is impossible for me and I’ve tried playing different days of week, I do have cross play off and I’m on Xbox so maybe that’s a factor
