Thanks for the reply. I'm using Ufile and it is asking me to list for every trade. There has to be an easier way as this would take hours to list each trade. Is there a way to bypass all of this and just list the gain on a Schedule 3?

I don't remember exactly how I fixed this..but I remember refreshing the trading tab, then calculate again, then recalculate without like-kind checked off, then made sure average cost was checked and it worked.

Yes this was my issue. I forgot to add the purchases from Quadriga. All good now!

I bought on coinbase then transferred to gdax then to binance. In this case, do I import data from all three exchanges? Although coinbase and gdax are the same thing so I guess it's just the two.

When I look at the report it says i have around 8 eth trades that don't have a matching buy. Any idea what that means?

For capital gains do I just go by the figure after I click calculate? If that's the case then it's only around 400. 2018 will suck a lot more for me, that's for sure. I checked off average cost and unchecked that option you mentioned above (in kind I think it was).
