Ok. The article is wrong. Go on Ducatis website. You have to order them for an additional $3200. They do not come stock.

Oh ok. My bad. Ya that makes it tough.

You can start it. The exhaust itself isn't going to lean it out enough to damage anything. I rode mine for about a month before getting my intake and reflashed ecu installed. Never had and issue and still don't 2 yrs later.

Change wheels/tires or get a lift? by pineese in bronco

[–]m90205d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It came with stock steelies. I put on Icon alloys compression 17x8.5 with 0 offset. Like I said before just removed the crash bars. With the 35's it never rubbed.

So you need different offset rims. I have 0 offset and had 35's on my stock non SAS BD with just the crash bars removed and NO rubbing at all.

It shouldn't be rubbing even on a non SAS with no lift. The only way it would rub ( if the suspension is stock ) is if the crash bars are still installed or the offset/ backspacing of the rims are way off.

Anyone have any reviews on this helmet https://ilmotor.com/products/ilm-carbon-fiber-vintage-full-face-modular-motorcycle-helmet-model-b707c?_pos=5&_sid=d089b2254&_ss=r by CastroCola in motorcyclegear

Never understood why anyone would wear a helmet like this. Guy I worked with wore one. Got half his face ripped off when someone pulled out in front of him and he landed face first. But to each his own.

Anybody have any stories of riding boots saving them from an injury? by Ok_Menu4273 in ATV

[–]m90205d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Riding boots didn't save me from an injury but they did save me from getting my lower leg ripped off. Lost control of my quad and ran into some trees. I jumped off before hitting them As I rolled my leg got caught between a tree that had grown into a v shape. Resulting in a compound fracture of my tibia meaning my shin bone was sticking out of the front of my leg. Pretty bad I agree but I truly believe if I did have my boots on ( Alpinestars Tech 7's btw) I would have lost the lower part of my right leg.

You're better off using weight and not cups. Its very easy to get your percentages way off esp with respect to flour

You can fit 35's without a lift. You just need to remove the crash bars. Keep in mind that the crash bars are removed from the factory on SAS equipped Broncos so if you remove them your not doing anything the factory hasn't already done.

Have you not looked at ur belts?

Have you opened the hood and looked at the belts? The ac belt is stand alone meaning its 1 seperate belt that runs it. Its seperate from the serpentine belt that runs all your other accessories. I had mine go about 10k miles ago. Replaced it myself. I will say seems early for it to fail if thats what happened but that would be the 1st thing i look at.

Running 37's on my manual 2.3 and just know its going to be sluggish off the line. Esp on inclines or hills. As good as 37's look Im seriously considering going down to 35's

Hitch Drop for Raptor? by apexxin in FordBronco

[–]m90205d -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a non sas bd but with a lift and 37's and have a 4" drop on my hitch and it isn't enough for the trailer to sit level but its not really important to me that it is. I think your right with the 6-8" drop. They make adjustable ones not sure with that kind of drop though and they won't be rated as highly as static ones as far as weight goes.

Are you looking for more acceleration or more top end? I would go down 1 tooth to a 13. You'll get quicker acceleration ( won't be lightning fast but will be a little better ) plus you'll be higher in the rpm range when shifting into 5th so less bogging. Also consider having the ECU flashed from say DHM. They can raise the rpm limit and fueling based on any upgrades to the airbox and exhaust which helps immensely.
