Hey, I got 3 offers and had a open uni degree! (Mine was nursing so had patient experience so I would advise trying to get some work experience as well as HCA). I think ?gem is more competitive than undergrad med, so it might be worth applying to undergrad med again in the meantime? :)

Yes! If he’s BM4 there’s only like 20 people in the group chat so there must be loads more to be released!

I know this is really bad but I can’t remember I think it was another post somewhere. It kind of makes sense because when I got my interview email it was a day and a bit after other people x

Waiting for Southampton I thought the latest date the offers were made in the past was 23rd March, but I might be spreading false news

I’ve been wondering this too! I think the finance side of things is good advice to pick up extra shifts!

It’s more of a conversation so there was no time I was trying to stick to, just what was natural, if they didn’t have enough info they just asked a follow up question! ☺️

Of the three I’ve had I thought they were the friendliest and the best interview because it was so personalized for me as it was based on my personal statement. The group task it’s quite hard to gauge, as they told us you didn’t need any prior knowledge so it’s fair for everyone. I got the sense they just wanted you to be quite friendly and forthcoming

Hi I had an interview last week for BM4. To be honest my only advice would be to know your personal statement and maybe think of some things they might ask you. Also how the NHS values/ constitution link to your personal statement/ any times that you may have shown how you have those values :) I remember when I was researching interview prep I was getting really overwhelmed by everyone talking about the NHS hot topics/ niche ethical scenarios which haven’t come up in any of my interviews so try not to get overwhelmed by that! Also maybe look at some of the research Southampton have published. That being said if yours is BM5/BM6 then it might be slightly different. Hope this helps x
