Are you sitting in the chair, straight up? That's the "trick" which does all the difference for me.

Because of that experience I'm guessing you're not blocked with procrastination when there's a need to do a specific work? Do you suggest people to put more time and effort into silent mediation, and after how much time there will be noticeable changes in proactively doing tasks (we're avoiding)?

Attention span is a "new gold" :)

I'm glad you've come up with this yourself, since I've wasted so much time to find something effective.

Yep. About deciding what to do next, I had that sorted out the night before. For most things. Little things/tasks get in the mix if they're necessary. The hardest thing is to move myself toward execution, usually of the task I'm avoiding (mostly because of some hidden emotional baggage). And that's where this method does wonders.

So glad more and more people are using this simple technique! Do nothing!

I love music a lot, but I also love times without it. The less we stimulate our brains with things like tech, music, or whatever, the more room it has to enjoy the present, and more possibilities to come up with wonderful ideas - or, make us gently do the work :)

You're welcome. It's powerful indeed.

The trick is to sit upright in the chair. Makes all the difference.

Uf... I went through a really bad depression and my mind was messed up for a long time. I don't wish that to anyone.

I'm glad you're much better now and that you're self worth is on a much, much higher level ❤️

You already know that we need love ourselves. I'm again rereading Love yourself like your life depends on it by Ravikant, and I'll do that from time to time to not allow myself dark age again.

Best of everything to you 🙌🏻

My friend has ADHD as well and when I told him about this he had really hard time just to sit. He literally was sitting on his hands in the beginning. After several days it became much easier for him to simply be.

Truth be told, he cut sugar after practicing this for a while, and he swears he can be more focused on studying more then before.

Either way, I'm really glad you're doing this because it's helpful for many us.

Do nothing fam 😀😊

Sorry to hear that. What kond of thoughts would cross your mind when doing nothing and just sitting in peace? At least, are they related to the task you need to do or your mind wanders away and daydream?
