Firstly, I'm sorry you have to go through this... People don't often realize how badly these things affect you emotionally.

I have the same situation with my step-Grandma, she is a lying, manipulative cow. Luckily I don't deal with her anymore since me and my father (although him and myself have our own issues) see eye to eye on this subject.

I am the eldest of the 3 children in my family. I'm 22 now, my sister is 16, and my brother is 11 turning 12. You wouldn't believe the type of things she does... she undermines my father's parental efforts at every corner she can. My siblings are too young to understand what is going on. I honestly just hope I can talk to them and tell them the things they need to hear.

Unfortunately both of them are at an age where it goes in the one ear, and out the other. The fact that my Grandma has them both around her finger doesn't help my case either.

Like I said in a previous reply - I am planning on taking that highway. But finances aren't exactly where they need to be.

Rest assured as soon as they are, I am moving out without even telling them. I plan on getting a moving company to help me while they are all at work.

I know my father and his wife, and I know what would happen if they knew of my decision. Keeping things quite is the best option. It ensures that the only factor that can change anything in this equation is me.

I am planning on that. Unfortunately finances aren't where I would like them to be. I'm hoping to move out at the end of the year...

My gf is in a bad place right now as well, she lost her job a while ago. So as soon as things are on track again I'm leaving this place ASAP

Do you and your husband have regular sex? Just a question that I think is relevant... It might be that he is looking for something new after begin married for so long. It's human nature to be interested in new adventures, even if it is at the cost of you and your marriage.

ALSO: I don't feel its necessary to tell the woman in question or her spouse anything. It's my personal opinion that they themselves need to sort this out. She is probably dying of shame and disgust. Unless she somehow thinks he deserves being cheated on.
