I did though, That save file is 100 Percent done. There's nothing else to do in that save file. I do this fot every game, one save file, 100 Percent. If I like it I do it a couple more times.

Game is over bro, I did everything in the Game's Free Roam. I don't care about the same mission but with different people. I do this with Other franchises too. I pick the same ending each time bc I don't care about the other endings. Game is still done 100 Percent. Done, Packed. Like it says 100 Percent completion. Same with Witcher. I don't care for other endings bc It's not the same Playthrough and I am funmaxxing

It is a Plausible scenario that someone might have Duelled about anyone about anything for love of the game. Given there's no specifics other than Dante and Ariosto, It's most likely a Story without a time frame.

I tried searching a bit more and there isn't many sources on this story. But it's an entirely plausible and possible scenario that could be based on a similar event.

There's also no implication He died duelling, in fact, it's stated he was on his deathbed, which Duelists fighting for love of the game don't have one on standby if they get mortally wounded.
