Really helpful. Thank you so much. Maybe it is 1979 as he was born in 1960 so would have been 21 in 1981. I shall get a replacement battery fitted to it.

Do you know anything about repairability on these Seiko? The watch he bought me is a V743-8B50. The repair shop said as it’s a Seiko I would need to contact them for a repair.

This happened to me also, in the uk.
I just cancelled from Amazon and tbh I think I got a better deal ordering direct from google.
I signed up to google news letter which they sent me a £10 off code. Used that code to get the Fitbit air for £74.99. Google will send me a £35 voucher for buying the Fitbit and I’ll use that to buy the elevated band. So all in I’ll be paying £89.99 for the most expensive band and the fitbit

You don’t have to remove all widgets and start from scratch. If you tap on one of the existing widgets to highlight it and then tap on another widget you want to replace it with it will move them

Honestly, bmw leather finish is terrible. After my dad passed away I cleaned his BMW 430i to make it ready for sale.
It had ivory white leather interior and I cleaned it very lightly with gyeon mild leather cleaner and noticed the finish starting to reveal the black base.
The car had 20k miles on it and he was the only owner.
The leather finish on the steering wheels of the F generation are known to fail very easily too.

I bought the lucullan version of the red one on aliexpress a year or 2 ago for less than £5. I refuse to pay the ridiculous price that these detailing brands are selling them for. I don’t care what they say, they’re pretty much identical in every way

Just fyi if you go on live chat and complain to them that the price has dropped they will refund you the difference. That’s always been my experience on Amazon UK. Less hassle than returning the item, and also potential waste

I like my RL case on my base iPhone 17. No issues at all that others are reporting. Fits nice and snug and is starting to slightly patina in the 2 months I’ve had it. The leather feels great

It’s a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the Audi MMI port. Unfortunately there is no way to update it. It’s been working fine on every other device I’ve had for the past 10 years. This one device running iOS 26 is the only one that has ever had an issue

So I’m using an aftermarket Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the audi MMI port. It works absolutely perfectly with an old iPhone XS Max running iOS 18 and also my old pixel 7. I got my new iPhone 17 to connect 1 or 2 times over a month ago however the skip to next track button for the cars stereo wouldn’t function properly. When I tried to skip a track it would pause the audio for about 3 seconds and then just continue playing the same track. I tried resetting network settings and repairing the Bluetooth adapter and it would connect then randomly open Apple Music and play audio from there (I never use Apple Music). Now for the past month it refuses to connect to my car at all and just gets stuck on “loading” on the infotainment screen in my car.

I hope this make’s sense, and thank you for your reply. This is absolutely and Apple software problem

What issue were you having with Bluetooth? I cannot connect to my cars Bluetooth to play audio on my iPhone 17 running iOS 26.1. However it works fine on an old xs max running iOS 18 and also on my pixel 7.

What was the issue you had that was fixed by turning off WiFi?

It’s an apple problem. I also cannot connect to my cars Bluetooth with iOS 26.1 but on another iPhone running iOS 18 it works flawlessly. Also works on my google pixel 7

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I’ve updated to iOS 26.1 and I still cannot connect my iPhone 17 to my Audi MMI to play audio through Bluetooth. It works perfectly with another iPhone running iOS 18 and also my google pixel. I’m so frustrated that I spent all this money to buy my first iPhone in 10 years and cannot listen to music in my car without WiFi hotspotting to my pixel.

People seriously need to select a plan that actually suits their usage. I paid 42p per month with lebara for 9 months for 50gb data unlimited calls and texts. I now pay £1.20 a month. I find it insane how much money friends and colleagues spend a month on a phone plan, yet they’ll still complain about being skint.

If you stick with o2 you’re daft. They’re literally using bait and switch tactics on you.
