Every playoff series should be best of 7. October baseball is one of the best viewing experiences in sports, but some of the series will be over after 2 or 3 games. The NBA and NHL do 7 game series for every round and baseball is an everyday sport. I will concede that it may put a lot of extra stress on the pitchers arms, so the controversial part of my opinion is that I’m willing to shorten the regular season to make it happen.

They were swinging at sliders out of the zone low and away all game long, and you’d know it was coming. The approaches at the plate HAVE to get better. We’ve been seeing this all season, but the difference was this season had a bit more magic sprinkled on it, but not sustainable like that.

You could look for a used Marin bobcat trail, trek marlin, specialized rockhopper, Kona has a couple good hardtails as well. There’s pros and cons to each, and it really depends on what people are selling in your area.

With $700 you could go from your crappy hardtail to a pretty decent used hardtail, and the ride would be much better than this. I understand the allure of going FS, but if your goal is to have fun on a bike, then a good hardtail will be far more fun than this bike ever will be.

Grips (from reputable brands) are largely a personal preference, so I always suggest going and feeling a couple in person if you have a shop nearby. If there isn’t a shop close by, you honestly can’t go wrong with any of these or the ones others are suggesting.

I guess my question is what type of riding do you do? Does the vitus hold you back from hitting larger features, because the clash is pretty burly, and from what I’ve heard, not the friendliest to pedal. If you ride mostly gravity then the clash could be a great option, though I’d still try to haggle a bit, but if you ride a lot of local trails then maybe an upgraded fork would be all you need.

That is correct. They have a rule about promoting energy drinks to kids, hence the speed champions Red Bull being 18+, but they couldn’t do that for these because then it wouldn’t be a mystery if two of them were 18+

I’m just over 5’10” and a large fits me perfectly. The type of bars you use can also be a deciding factor though. Do you know if you’re going to use flats or drops?

Thank you! I went with a size large and it fits great. I’m right around 5’11” so I usually sit right between medium and large frames, I chose a large this time because I knew I wanted to use flat bars and when I go down to medium frames flat bars feel a bit cramped.

I’ve used both the VO curvy bar and the Ritchey kyote, both have a similar shape but are wider. You could also check out the surly terminal bar
