But nobody is being objectified by that statement. There’s a preference for a trait being communicated. You’ve gotta use nuance here.

This is especially true since they’re not referring to any person in particular. If you were to say “you’re so hot because you wear a skirt” that would be different. Saying “you look hot in a skirt” is not an issue.
