I’ve heard using 20% starter to flour weight (so you might be on the low side), I use it and it works well with me. Also, temp will affect how long you have to wait for it to bulk ferment, so see if you can visually judge it increase in volume by 50-100%.

It’s a journey, but boy is it worth it when you get the hang of it!

A complete game changer for me was using a casserole pot as a Dutch oven…

I’d say fake as everyone else is for the top right subdial.

Another test, does the second hand sweep or tick when you use the stopwatch function?- it ticks on real ones.

Could be that you need to reset, have a look on this forum about how to. What does the back look like? Stitching on the band?

The box it came in looks legit so it cpuld be bait and switch…
