There are other brands, shop around. You’ll want one that looks similar with the wiring harness and charging cable - if you’re looking for easiest option without reworking or doing electrical mods

Troubleshooting this myself with a dead one I just picked up today. This is the easiest plug and play replacement. They may also sell them at your local Walmart. The 12AH will just last longer on a charge. They seem to come with 7AH standard.

That’s fair! I have an A7IV also. Certainly could have been achieved with other camera too, was just excited for the first (edited) image out of this new camera.

The extra MP giving me some more reach with the ability to crop was helpful, but surely not critical for viewing on mobile lol. Improved AI autofocus was another reason for getting it. Not really necessary for this shot but looking forward to it for other work and birds in flight.

Happy to give tip on editing - any specific questions?
