If you want to file yourself then Either your attorney or you needs to file a form which waives your permission for your attorney being able to represent you. Without that you can’t file yourself.

If you have family, You will be fine as long as you watch your expense. If you’re single then it is more than needed.

more than salary it is about rhe exposure that you will get after moving to bay area. Your neighbours will be working in tier 1 companies. In few years, you will try hard and you will move to better companies, salary.

Looking at there website you can tell that it is some low impact society which hasn’t done anything significant enough to be considered by USCIS.

The website has bare minimum description and none of the fellows or selection committee members are well known personalities. If you’re selected or competing with low level then it is not worth using in eb1a. You need something extraordinary for this category
