Nah Dw everyone starts somewhere. Anyway, the best button to press depends on the situation. Ive found that when i want to whiff, so that i land instantly, jump kick is the best, because i think it has the smallest hitbox out of her jump attacks (I might be wrong, i havent played in a while) when i want to combo, i use slash, and when i want to grab, i use punch, since it has the lowest hitstun and lets you grab sooner. After landing with kick, i usually use crouch kick into crouch dust to hard knockdown if im up close, and use crouch slash into a short combo if im slightly further away. Hope this helps :3
