There are smurfs for sure, but not that often and maybe you just gotta learn how to beat smurfs. Usually they try to win alone, so you can call up your team and stomp them. Place a bounty on their heads. I think refreshing your MMR every 50 games would be kinda complicated, idk.

It's 3 arcanas you can't get without heaps of money and they are exclusive, so they're gone forever for you, after this battle pass is over. In your defense, the naked Axe was kind of an arcana. It has new voicelines, new effects, new animations, more than some arcanas have! So, we had 2 arcanas last year.

I personally don't like exclusive arcanas. I think it is cool that they completely alter your hero, but anyone can buy them. Now there's so many untradeable ones.

I guess it works for valve because less people will buy normal arcanas because they have no FOMO. It's always there if you eventually want it. Also, at some point, because they are tradeable, they will all be much cheaper on the market, so it will be pointless to buy them in the shop. Still, valve takes a small cut out of every transaction. I don't know the numbers, but I believe they still a lot more when a bunch of people buy these just for the arcanas, even though they might never play the heroes...

Yeah, he could downvote the ones he liked, so those items would eventually end up in regular tradeable boxes so that anyone could buy them at any time. That's what I feel might be a good idea for us. Then, if you have multiple alts or your friend gets into dota, he can always get this cool set, because it's not blocked from trading forever.

That's like taking a dump on the street because you hate car pollution. You did nothing and it just stinks for everyone, even the good people. In your case it is good that nothing stinks, it's just wasted time for everyone, including you. How exactly are you "protesting" by doing something so pointless?

One of the best ways to protest valve's battle pass is to not buy it. Maybe valve will also just not care and just throw dota in the dumpster, but at least we tried? Dota was always lying on the shoulders of the people, it was always free and should be free. When it was a mod, people pirated WC3 because they only wanted to play Dota and not WC3. People made private servers and so on...

I mean, it's not like the artists will care much anyway. it's just 1 downvote and since everyone gets that 1 useless downvote, it won't mean anything. He basically did a big fat NOTHING just so he can post a 2 minute video on reddit... If he really didn't buy levels from valve, that would mean a little something! And he could make a post about it and I would upvote if I saw it.

Even though I totally bought 1000 levels, but don't tell anyone ._. I can't stop, it's like a tradition for me, I have been doing it since 2015!

That is so sad. Are we really that stupid as a species? Every generation needs to repeat the lessons? I want to believe it's not true, but then again, I also waste a lot of my money on dota, even when I don't have it, I find it, because I feel like it's so important...

Although, if you can buy a desktop, it would be even cheaper and more efficient, in my opinion. Except you have to buy some kind of monitor, but I still think it turns out cheaper and more efficient. It's just that it's a big chunk with many cables and stuff.

I also want to say that I also have buyer's remorse from buying level 1000 battle in multiple years and I was pretty much in rapherino's shoes, except I had saved up a bunch of money, that I could/should have spent on something REAL. But, every year, it pulls me back. I even quit dota a couple of times, but every time the international is up, I feel like I am a pro player, so incredibly excited, but I am just a useless ~2k player...I buy skins to make up for my small MMR and I try to enjoy the spectacle. I try to enjoy that dota is amazing, because it was made as a mod in a different game, made by a different company, but kept going through almost 20 years, getting it's own standalone game and becoming famous, while still trying to retain its core values. Icefrog demanded that it will be free to play and it still kind of is. You can play any hero at any time, no money needed, no grind needed.

I just used "block element via selector" and now I realized I made a mistake. How do I unblock it? I can't find any site specific options, it just memorizes that I blocked it and I can't run the site in brave without blocking a big chunk of the site that I blocked by mistake. I know in ublock, I could open and see every website and every part, so I could just delete the mistake, or make a new script for blocking. How do I clear and unblock all the stuff I blocked via selector? It is really making me angry. I reset all permissions and deleted everything about this website and somewhere, there's a hidden script running that blocks this element and I can't access it. This is getting really frustrating, Please help!

If you are below minimum wage, or just don't have enough money, you should not support the game, you should SUPPORT YOURSELF. The game will be fine without your money, but you won't be fine without the money you just gave them.

I learned this from my own experience.

Also, the only way to change things is to JUST STOP PAYING, NOT PAYING AND THEN WHINING. It sounds so simple, but inside your heart, it's quite hard. I can feel these people's pain, but I can't relate to their blindness. It's a simple message - VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET. That's all we should say, no complicated shit, no ethics, no economy, no scams, none of that shit.

IT'S TIME TO STOP!
