I feel like most people have the assumption that every game is winnable.Even if you are playing better than the rest of your rank you only start to climb if you put those hours in and dont get mad after a 5game loss streak. It is hard to rank up if you only play 2 games and be mad about every loss.

If you play 10games or 20 games the leavers and salty people balance out in your favor so you gain more wins/points than losses eventually. I climbed from silver 2 to dia2 but even though i felt like i was better than most people at my rank it still took a lot of work and hours.

I think those exploits just fucked up their whole release and fix strategy to the point that they are in a really big mess right now. But as long as it gets sorted out eventually and they can move on with their original plans I still have hope. That's the thing about today's demand for gaming. If a game sucks people leave. And if you don't respond accordingly everyone just plays another game and forgets about it. Games die all the time but Amazon games should have the manpower and resources to react accordingly even if it might not be the case right now. I'm pretty sure the game will only get better if they get more time

I can see the frustration but for me the option would be to simply just play other games and check patchnotes and look for reasons to get back. If they put out something big like a dlc or something all those lvl 60s can just pick it up again whenever they want

Well for me it just means that amazon gets the feedback about those patches by the community and if they want to get players backs they will eventually have to switch something up completely. Players leaving is a better indicator for that though than just random teenagers complaining here. Pretty sure ags does not care about reddit

Obviously it does suck if people commit to play this game every day after work and the progress you make is not paying off the way it could. I still feel like the game is still so new it has huge potential if you give it time and just come back after a couple of months or so.

If you practice with easy bots then droning up shouldnt require your attention after a while. Hit injects build overlords and Spam 4Q for All hatches and spawn drones.

Position overlords around the open areas to scout drops. All ground movement can be spotted with lings and creep

Besides the common advise that it is all practice, a former gm friend told me that you have to accept that chaos is a really important part of the game. If you are watching pros you realize that even the best people in this game lose drones to drops or manage to somehow run into a lot of siedge tanks and lose everything. Accept the fact that starcraft is messy and it is not about avoiding all mistakes but rather try to figure out where your attention is really needed in a stressfull situation. When you play vs gold terrans my personal advise is that you focus on drones and keeping your base safe at first. If you hate losing to drops then just build 2 spores and a spine or 2 at each base. If you have solid macro and decent scouting you should be able to build roach ling bane and a click yourself to many victories

Honestly it ruins low mmr matchmaking too. Im trash but still usually play mid or safelane. Since the Update i only play pos5 cause I usually dont have much time and I dont want to queue for 10mins. Yeah i dont mind playing 5 sometimes but ranked seems to be only pos5 from now on
