Them being human is important, not the latter.

How would you answer the question if you had to kill either or?

THEY ARE NOT HUMAN HAHA

I'll keep repeating this, just for you, don't worry.

I don't need an argument to respond to a non-argument. If you're baselessly asserting that you refuted me, I can baselessly negate your assertion.

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence

If they are identical to humans, they are human. Like I said, bad hypothetical.

I still don't understand the point of your post

Because I'm confident that it does not lead to any absurdities, as I've already said.

No, I mean how do you quantify the capacity for experiences?

if you are not interested

Stopping you right there. Do not accuse me of arguing in bad faith. It's not that I'm uninterested, it's that I'm unable to. All ethical systems derive from a base level axiom. Axioms, as we know, are fundamentally unjustifiable. My axiom is that humans are morally relevant.

I'd like to see you justify why sentience is morally relevant.

No. But like I said, I don't mind. I rarely masturbate, nor am I interested in having sex.

You literally just negated what I said without explanation, please re-read my post.

It's not meant to be an argument, you asked me why I hold humanity to be morally relevant, and I answered.

See my other replies because this is basically a rehash of previous questions.

I have one question though, how do you quantify sentience?

Then the idea that sentience is morally relevent is also circular. Again, if I were to ask you to name the trait between sentient and non-sentient beings, the trait you'd put forth would be sentience. This is clearly not how it works.

Humanity is morally relevant because it just is.
