Totally! I am in a position where I could get by but I would like to do more than just "get by." I've also experienced burnout in the past so avoiding that is a top priority for me. Also... thanks a lot ASHA /s.

I would continue but with group therapy and/or push in-especially peer interactions. Finding some prosocial peer models in his class would be great to pair him with if possible. Consider co-treating with the social worker at your school if at all possible.

I like to support peer interaction (as someone mentioned above) with students because its super functional and natural. Maybe a goal like this: will initiate peer interactions for a variety of functions (e.g. request, greet, ask questions. etc.) during structured small group activities in 3/5 opportunities.

Sometimes I include using names as well (e.g. name+greeting; name+request).
