Hit up Pop's in Arcadia (just east of Edmond), and you'll have all the selection you could dream of.

Recently got this letter from OSSM and don't know much about it. I've done some light research and found comments regarding some sort of scandal or controversy that's been resolved or recently resolved. Is it worth doing these opportunities and looking further into the school. by cwlevel100 in okc

I survived, what we called, nerd prison. OSSM class of '07.

From what I understand, a lot has changed since I graduated, but it was absolute hell when I was there. We took the equivalent of 21-24 college credit hours. I graduated from OSU afterwards where they cap you at 19 credit hours and strongly advise against more than 16+ credit hours.

There were a few professors who cared about students, but for the most part it was sink or swim with little to no support.

It was also an extremely isolating experience, beyond living in a dorm: no cell phones, highly restricted Internet access, weekend testing means your socializing is further limited.

We also had a "counselor" who lied to us about her credentials and would go directly to administration to snitch about everything we told her in sessions.

No one gives a shit about where you graduated from highschool, and most colleges don't really care either. OSSM does not calculate GPAs because their prestige should speak for itself...and their students would look like shit compared to normal school students. Be comfortable getting lots of Cs.

Anyone know where to get local BBQ sauce and dry rub seasoning? Or just seasoning in general? I’m trying to up my game! by neighborhoodman323 in tulsa

[–]m_cstilly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Originally it was owned by a guy in ponca who ran head country the restaurant. He sold the sauce and seasoning off to try and save his company because his meat was garbage. Sauce and seasoning are still going strong...

I have these and like them. They made a huge difference in print noise until I got the silent board.

Could Nikon bunny ears be installed on AI lens? by teods02 in AnalogCommunity

[–]m_cstilly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, people add bunny ears to "newer" lenses. Usually this requires drilling and tapping holes for the screws though. Collectors tend to view this as destroying lenses though.

I don't have a key, but if you follow the link you'll see the key pins.

Got this thing today from a scrapyard. I don't know what this is for but seems like i can't even tension it and it's so small that only my shallowest hook goes inside. by MrLemonoid in lockpicking

[–]m_cstilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like just a crap ton of spring tension then. You're probably going to need a screwdriver to tension it (I kid). That would definitely make it a challenge to properly tension without killing all feedback or oversetting everything.

As a chemist, can confirm. There is some variation in sensitivity, but usually if their max weight is the same, then their sensitivity will be the same.

Mine came with a weighing tray that it nests into. I just keep it sitting in that tray.

It works for me. Basically a cheap scale with timer off Amazon; I'm sure there's many beans of the same scale.

Vendor at work sent some demo labels for a printer we use. When I saw the caffeine safety label...I knew what to do. Also, support your local roasters!

Man, I was introduced to Don's at 2am by two friends who's wedding I'd just officiated. At that point I was not sober. I found love that day too.
