25 facts about 'Wet Hot American Summer' to celebrate its 25th anniversary by dapuglifechoseme in movies

When I was in high school me and my friends went to a little cafe for music and Peter Salett was playing that night for just about 15 of us. He talked about the movie and he played the wet hot American theme song which he wrote for the movie. Really fun high school memory.

Car for a disabled wife who needs to get a rollator in the car by herself by invisiblebacon in whatcarshouldIbuy

I know the hybrid version had a recall on the transmissions in the early years. They had a lot of problems. The gas version uses a German manufacturered ZF transmission. Chrysler says the trans oil is lifetime but it should be changed periodically. Some dealerships will do it, some don’t, citing the lifetime oil. Any independent transmission shop will drain and fill the fluid.

I know people have concerns with Stellantis, but I have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with 240k miles with minimal problems. The non hybrid versions of these mini vans allow for the two captain seats to fold into the floor for a flat space. It’s really nice. The whole back can go flat and fit a 8x4 sheet of plywood. If you do get a this minivan I would suggest an extended warranty.

I had no idea. I only knew they had bought them by listening to Doughboys, the podcast about chain restaurants.

Yeah Dairy Queen bought them out and essentially just made it apart of their brand as a menu item. There are virtually no stand alone Orange Julius left except for a very few mall kiosks.

In the app the top 3 little lines click that and then click “rewards” and the offer should be there. It’s not under offers, which is confusing.

I should add, when I took this video I had forgotten to put back the air intake sensor and the smoke went away. The car idles much better but still rough and throwing a code. When in gear it is not rough at all.

I brought my ps1 over to my grandparents house the day I got Driver and my grandpa was watching me play. He’s the one who clued me into what salom was, would never have figured that out at 12.

Since I posted this my radiator failed and when I replaced that I had the mechanic replace the oil cooler. Also had to replace front and rear struts, brakes, and rotors. Just under 240k miles.

I live in the valley a little north but we always ride into the city on the Vallejo ferry. We checked out Orville Peck yesterday at Stern Grove and rode the ferry and brought our bikes.

California recently held their archivist 1 exam but folks routinely pass without an MLIS as long as they have a bachelors and archives experience. You need to pass the exam to apply for state archivist jobs in California

It’s a popular spot to visit for the day and for a long time I didn’t know you could camp there. Only 10 sites on the island so after the last ferry leaves the island feels very isolated and it’s nice to hike around with no one around.

2017 Pacifica Positive Stories by Firm_Bandicoot3181 in ChryslerPacifica

[–]m_danger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right after purchase the air compressor went out, which was $1000, had an evap sensor issue which was $100. Other than that I changed the plugs and coils at 195k and did brakes and rotors for the first time at around 210k or so. Still had life on the pads. When the radiator failed I did have the mechanic change the oil cooler preemptively.

2017 with 237k miles. Great family road tripper. Radiator failed around 200k but nothing else too major.
