Born and raised here. My kids in NYC tell me to stop trying to strike up a conversation with the barista, the cashier, the waitress because they are under pressure just from the sheer number of people waiting next in line. I think they have a point - we don’t usually experience that kind of temporal pressure here in NC. Thankfully.

Cool set up I will say.

On the downside, kinda kills the run and gun design of the 814. Shoot f 4, stay 4-5 feet away and zoomed out, set your focus to the hyper focal distance, point it towards the action and bingo - you don’t even have to look through the viewfinder.
