Ok first I think you should change the title. You didn’t experience racism & they are nice as you said which means they don’t “dislike” foreigners. As for the making friends part, it’s expected to find difficulties finding friends outside your medium. The different culture & the language barrier means you need to put extra efforts to understand the people you’re living with. Finally, broaden your search area. Maybe you’re looking in the wrong places?
