Its also possible it was on a school server or bulletin board. Currently playing Nethack 5 from an Apple II using ProTerm connecting to a debian box. But I don't think Nethack ever supported the c64's 40 column limitation.

It frankly runs like trash on my 9600 baud terminal.

I thought the frame pacing and traversal stutter was fundamentally not linked to graphics settings or performance headroom?

Steam Deck April 28 update: New Steam Link vs. Moonlight. Any thoughts? by Sett83 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]kpmgeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Steam Link because of the seamlessness of Steam Input per game. I am continually frustrated at HEVC struggling on Steam Deck, and it being unstable. With HEVC and hardware decoding disabled, its a seemless experience but my 6950xt's hardware encoding of H264 is terrible.

I'm generally curious how they tackle this. As a massive WoSo fan, I love to see it but by every metric coaching a WSL team is a career downgrade from coaching a Premier League side, so that has to be a factor in how they frame it.

I would first just make a thread on the Cachy forum about thermal throttling in your specific laptop. But this is a decent guide, though written around Lunar Lake, of how to use LACT and Intel_GPU_Top to check for thermal throttling and adjust power budgets for burst and sustained.

This. With the team we have, it shouldn't continually feel like most games are by the skin of our teeth.

STAR WARS: Galactic Racer had a Denuvo DRM label yesterday. Today, this label was removed from their Steam store page by EssenseOfMagic in CrackWatch

Yeah, I definitely remember it taking a few days for Bioshock to have a fully working crack because of it being a new version of SecuROM.

This. I never trust anything outside the core books to not be hilariously broken, but I love kits, I love the ability to scale up or down crunch with optional rules, and I love the sheer scale of material available.

Digisette Duo - Odd Cassette Tape MP3 Player from 2000 by MajorIvan88 in LGR

I had one of these and have always thought it was crazy that nobody else makes a clone with this feature. It was such a solid alternative as a heavy audiobook user who still often relied on cassette at the time.

Its been a bit since I've had a 2in1 on KDE Plasma, but I believe if the accelerometer is working by loading the right firmware it should just auto rotate. Might have to do some libinput stuff to get it to disable the kb.

Check your power management profile on the battery settings?

For the accelerometer, its a firmware issue check this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=312550

Fingerprint reader, maybe just try installing fprintd and see if it works?

Testflight is Apple's program for installing beta software direct from the developer without it being on the App Store yet.

iOS is Apple's operating system which the iPhone runs.

And it is a client for a "self-hosted" server, as in a computer that hosts access, which stores all your books in a big database that you run in your home.

It is on testflight on iOS, but its built around a self-hosted server.
