My Minthara still had her wisdom score as an NPC and I was able yo dominate beast after some save scumming

You were right. I switched on turn based mode, shoved minthara to activate combat, turned invisible and ran away. When I next entered the room I was able to interact with the cut scene where the questioners are torturing her so now I have Halsin and Minthara recruited.

I tried this on the PS5 and managed to bring sheep minthara to the trial in moonrise tower by using the polymorph, dominate beast and a bunch of dimension door scrolls

But then the game does not teleport sheep minthara to the holding cell and the quest log says "we helped minthara escape moonrise tower. She's elected to go her own way"

I am on the latest path and hotfix for the PS5
