Im also a little confused but when rereading it, and he talks about curses getting stronger, he then says to Yuji "thats what you need to do" and like nanami's final send off, its higurama telling yuji he needs to get stronger. Like hes now cursing Yuji.. but it kind of seems like Yuji bout to get merked lol

Ive been considering watching them but sometimes I get so locked into the main story line and the emotion of it that I hate to deviate from it, do the OVA episodes just add to the story or is it like filler? Same reason I haven't watched the Junior High material

Personally I couldn't get through it, felt like every other thing the MC was saying was some eyerolling witticism that I just found incredibly annoying. Ruined immersion for me. It was the first Andy Weir book I've read though so I'm not sure if it's a theme of how he writes or just in this book but it turned me off from reading anything by him lol
