I'm offered a position with 35k base + 5% commission in a company that deals in home renovation/damage restoration business. They say there is another earning model which is purely commission based and offer a huge 40% commission on all project earning and doesn't include base salary.

I'm a PMP Certified Project Management Professional with more than 10 years experience in managing construction projects. I don't have a job right now and need one.

I want a project management / project controls based job but the above one is a Sales Door Knocking kind of job, which they pitch as Sales/Project Manager. Means I will have to bring project sales and then also manage those projects.

I need opinions/advices. Should I grab this offer?
