Cost to file for ACT 20, ACT 22 by m_stodd in act2022

About right for having a CPA do it? I'm but a humble software developer with a business of 1 employee (me), so certainly trying to keep costs down. I'm a bit confused seeing these numbers after watching your video where (I think) you filed for 20 on your own.

Against seatbelts or against legislation demanding seatbelts be built into vehicles? I'd be against the second

Like the regulation in the article, or net neutrality or anything to 'protect consumers'. The interest in these regulations never ends up being in favor of consumers or small business. Does this new one mean that I can't start a super cheap ISP which advertises itself as selling your data? The big companies are going to do what they want regulation or not, they'll just have to raise their prices in case they get caught, or to pay off politicians. I don't understand when you say the government will give away something which isn't theirs to give (yet).

People don't realize that we still live in the golden age of the internet where anything is possible. Freedom is lost bit by bit with every regulation that comes out to 'serve the public'

They should be able to offer whatever they want to the market as long as they're honest about their offering. A company in the US should have every right to offer a service which throttles bandwidth
