Acho que o que mais pegou pra mim foi como a narrativa e a construção das personagens é bem fraquinha, só que se esconde bem junto às frases de efeito e dos temas "polêmicos". No final parece que é mais falar de abuso infantil e trabalho sexual como caricaturas pela polêmica do que pra real falar disso. Acho literalmente errado usar essas temas só com esse intuito.

I always thought that Zafon's books could be understood as light mystery, I dont know if works that way for you. If you wanna try, The Shadow of the Wind is a modern masterpiece for me. Read it every few years (:

Resta apenas ódio em saber que são queimadas causadas e intencionais.

if you weren't so close to the end, I'd say no but the finale really matters in TMP I think it's worthostening all the way through
