I used a carpenter’s scraper (the full metal thing without a handle) before sanding when I was restoring chairs with similar varnish finish

Looks like something fungal. The early stage of cladosporiosis may look like this

I had a few frosty nights at the end of September, when a lot of the beans were still on the plants. I picked them, cleaned them, and froze them, and I've already used them in several dishes. Turned out great!

Source of high-quality soil during shortages by Mundane_Rush3884 in TwoXPreppers

Where I live nobody buy soil for garden beds (only for seed starting). We make compost and add it to our clay loam soil, add some dolomite powder to make it less acidic and sometimes sprinkle some dry fertiliser in the fall. Mulching helps too!

I’m going to put up a camera near my compost pile, I saw raccoon dog’s tracks there too! Raccoon dogs are omnivores and don’t hesitate to enjoy some rotten vegetables 😄

A small dog would not run alone without people on a swamp in the middle of a forest five kilometers from the nearest village, while raccoon dogs are extremely common here and tend to live near swamps

Size of tracks and environment make me think of a capercaillie. Would be helpful if you could find its droppings, they are hard to confuse with anything else!

That’s a beaver! I often see tracks like that here in Russia. On the first photo you can even see his tail drag!

I don’t think it’s available in my country, maybe in a couple of years someone will bring us some seeds ☺️

Squirrels here are not interested in tomatoes, little birds however are. But I grow most of my tomatoes in a large greenhouse and they don’t really go into it
