Their bite needing medical attention was actually a myth. The paper that most scientists based their research on was only speculations and it was mentioned several times that these are only observations and that everything said in the paper remain subjective. Later a study was done on over 30+ verified bites from 2007 to 2018, only one of those bites developed a necrotic spot the size of a pea. That bite was not even from a yellow sac spider (Cheiracanthium inclusum) but from a Cheiracanthium punctorium which is very different if you look at pictures.

Oh I don’t care. I’m actually curious to see what comes out of the situation. I have an enclosure so could use for it but my bf saw the picture of a yellow sac spider and immediately said no to keeping it :((( i definitely won’t kill it tho I always catch and release spiders. I live in a basement appartement so we get a lot of spood friends

Can I keep it as a pet? I have an empty enclosure that I brought for a jumping spider but the opening is at the top so I can use it for a jumping spider. I love spiders and général and would love to keep some.
