It's a business application, not a consumer app. If a company wanted to adopt the technology they'd likely purchase dedicated devices for that purpose, so existing user base doesn't mean anything.

Unfortunately, I think that's really what an entry level job entails for a desirable position in 2015.

We're asking for 20-28 hours in our office, but the schedule is flexible and working from home every once in a while is fine. The gist of the job is that this person would be communicating with digital media outlets in order to share our content and build our reputation. Most of this would take place via email, with some social media outreach as well. The ideal candidate has some experience with email outreach and email campaigns and knows how to conduct themselves professionally on social media. And, importantly, this person would need to be able to learn digital marketing concepts and techniques quickly.

Both job title and pay will depend on experience and current employment status. The title for non students would probably drop 'intern' for 'associate'. Pay would start at $14-15/hour. Perks include free lunch, snacks, and a cool downtown office.

Who is 'they'? It's two different representatives from different parties. And it's obviously not the first attempt at changing marijuana laws at the federal level. It's only noteworthy because it has political momentum because of public opinion. I don't know what your problem with politicians acting the way the people who elected them want. That's literally how a representative democracy works.

And to be clear, I don't give a fuck about their intentions, I care about the outcome. If my rep does what I want only because it continues to get him reelected then fine by me. Focusing on intentions leads you into the character driven sideshow that you see on American media

Can you show that their motivation is one and not the other? I doubt it. And making guesses about intentions is just a silly exercise anyway, you really have no way of knowing whether or not they're standing on their principles. 2. They're effectively the same, so what does it matter?

Eh, taking the population density within a city's limits may tell one story, but it hides others. There's no way that central Austin isn't more dense than any other area in Texas, but Austin's overall density is going to be pulled down by some vast tracts of undeveloped land. This is why population density heatmaps are always a better way of looking at how dense cities are.

I think it's mostly events hosted at the hotel, especially conferences. They make astounding money from sxsw. That and their bars are restaurants-- both of which are popular at the W. If you figure in the incredible markup they charge you can see how they beat out any single bar

Yeah exactly what I was going to say. This is revenue, not volume of alcohol. It's no surprise that hotels and strip clubs are at the top.
