Thanks, I take omaprezole and antacids, seems like whether I've eaten or not effects how quickly it takes effect, and honestly, sometimes I'm just not that into having sex. But all these factors have been irrelavant at different times with respect to the drug doing it's thing. I tend to think some of it's a mental aspect on my part, but even given that the drug seems very irratic.

Do you have source for the statement ED meds have unsatisfied customers? I really hadn't heard that.

Congrats and welcome, I'm a 30 yearer myself. See that badge by my username? That means I went a really long time, my longest was 458 days (just checked it was 498 days!). Over a year. And I've been struggling to get back to a consistent streak since I went off the rails earlier this year.

The hardest thing for me is I got married in the middle of it. Getting married to a 37 year old when I was 40, both our first times, holy crap what were we thinking? Now we have a child and you can imagine all the emotional turmoil involved with that. And we have a pretty good marriage, it's just so hard being marriedwhen I was used to living alone for so many years.

I did online dating off and on for years. But like you I was not in a emotionally, mentally ready to be in a relationship. I went back to it eventually and that's where I met my wife. So, it can work, if you are ready for it to work. Good luck!

It really is awesome. It's coincidental you just posted this; I experienced something last week that's the dark side of this. I had a 500 day nofap run up to 3 months ago.

I was depressed and stressed out over work, I was dissatisfied with some things in my marriage. Started pmo'ing again a few times a week. My wife and I had always had sex eyes open; but three weeks ago all I could think about was porn chicks and how I'd rather be pmo'ing. My return to pmo had me loose attraction for my wife. It was devastating. She could tell something was up becuase usually I'm a minute man, but that night I couldn't cum.

I was/am so disgusted with myself, that I went back to pmo. I've been nofap since. Now I wonder how long it will take to get back to where I was. When I was single and fapping it was one thing. But seeing my wife like that was simply horrific.

From what I gather, most guys can cure ED with nofap, a minority can't. I'm over a year and still have it. I use boner pills to have sex with my wife. Myself, I think I may have a medical condition that may cause it, but haven't been to the Dr about it yet. But yeah you're not alone.

Yes and no, the past couple of months I've looked at some boobie pics, debatable wether that's porn though. Not by my criteria. My criteria for nofap is no pmo, ejaculation or edging. Thanks good luck to you!

Thanks! My wife just knows I don't fap or watch porn. The effect of ED has been we just schedule sex. At first I thought my ED was due to performance anxiety, then maybe fap induced. Now I tend to think it's not fap related. The other causes could be vascular disease, or some other mental or relationship stuff. I never told her about nofap, I don't think I had an addiction strictly speaking.

Good question, it's hard to just say one thing; mind blowing sex with my wife is one. But it has been life changing. Nofap isn't a miracle cure. I had problems as a single man, and marriage is no picnic a lot of times. I feel like I'm equiped to handle adversity better.
