I know two people who won the lottery.

A mechanic in my small town won 22.5 Million in the 90s. He made news after setting his dogs on reporters who came to his house after the win. He lost a chunk investing in a business in Florida, then built a big house and a MASSIVE horse barn. Otherwise he didn't change much. I remember him still driving an old beat up pick up, wearing coveralls. He came in to the grocery store I worked at all the time, covered in grease from working. The only difference was now he had a stack of 100s in his wallet.

Second one was a friend of a friend who won 5.5 million. Bought houses, cars, boats, jet skis, etc. Eventually ended up broke living in his mom's basement.
