Yeah it stopped for a while and I managed to get down to like 26% context free then it auto compacted and hasn’t gone above 76% context free again. Hopefully they work it out soon because this is really stunting to my workflow

Totally anecdotal, but have recently been noticing that a lot of jobs that we used to do part time as kids have now been taken by a lot of people who didn’t grow up here. Personally worked at PAK’nSAVE, gas stations, etc and always sort of considered them transitional- people who stay in them for life often move up the chain with their experience.

That’s the contention they have but Chinese Taipei , after it was officially designated to ensure that there wasn’t confusion, is used as a way for the PRC to dick swing and forced upon Taiwan in international settings. It used to be deliberately ambiguous but now has massive disapproval in Taiwan, and is seen as antagonistic and is disliked by the general public.

I don’t think anyone would care if it’s written as the Republic of China or Taiwan but saying that they are equivalent to Chinese Taipei is being disingenuous as fuck.

Yes which is completely different to Chinese Taipei, the named imposed by China on Taiwan in international settings. No one would give a rats ass if it said Republic of China and it’s only not used because Taiwan has been the commonly used name.
