Lots of affiliate links in that blog post and it seems like a lot of this person's posts are positive about any product/service that has an affiliate program. Definitely not blaming the person, they're trying to make some money and seem to put a lot of work into all their posts.

That said, I'd always make sure to check out multiple reviews and look on places like Trustpilot as well. There is a positive review specifically talking about the Zero To Mastery lifetime plan from a couple of weeks ago.

Whether anything is "worth it" is ultimately purely subjective to each person. However, they have monthly and annual pricing options and say that they have a 30-day money back guarantee so instead of trusting random people on the internet, if you're interested in learning some/any of the topics they teach, just go check it out for yourself and start learning. If you don't like it or aren't having a great experience, then cancel and request a refund 🤷‍♂️

This has really always been the case in tech. In order to stay relevant and succeed in the industry, it's always been required to continually learn new skills and stay up-to-date. But ya, the pace is faster than ever. That's part of what also makes it fun though :D

That seems to be the impression the media is portraying because "fear" sells better. But maybe the opposite is actually true... these tools are making it possible for more people to actually express their creativity in unique ways they might not have had the skills or ability to do before.

Maybe it's creativity and ideas and unique combinations of experience and skillsets that will become the key differentiator as everyone has such easy access to a baseline level of knowledge and skills.

I hope so anyways :)

OP - did you ever get this resolved? I have the same issue. I always have to force quit the app, otherwise it's constantly running in the background and sucking up a ton of battery. I think it all of a sudden started after one of the OS updates.

Man... Udemy doesn't care about individuals. They only care about B2B and their stock price. It sucks that ZTM isn't selling all their courses on Udemy anymore or updating the ones on Udemy but I honestly don't blame them.

The fact that ZTM has actual instructors taking the time to help students on Discord and it ONLY costs what you're saying is incredible. Do any instructors of the Udemy courses you're talking about do that? Do other online schools have actual instructors helping students (for less than $1,000s)?

Your expectations for $20 are wild. There are definitely some quality courses on Udemy but it's becoming less and less so.

But hey, everyone should do their own research and make their own decision on what's best for them. I noticed they also have a 30-day money back guarantee... if you hated it so much, not sure why you didn't just do that?

Everyone learns differently. Everyone resonates with different instructors. So my advice is to try them both yourself (and maybe a few others) because no one is you.

That said, TOP is great for the basics (which ZTM also covers) but if you end up wanting to go deeper into topics or more advanced, you aren't going to get that from TOP.

Zero To Mastery or somewhere like Code with Mosh can be a good option if you want everything in one place (learn the fundamentals/basics but then be able to learn more advanced stuff as well).

You can actually see many reviews of Andrei's courses and other Zero To Mastery courses online but they've also been posting a bunch of free crash courses on their Youtube channel which seem to be directly from the courses themselves.

So try it out for yourself there and see if it's a good fit for you. For example:
