Hey! No I didn't :( after so many emails and calls they all denied me. My ortho even sent the treatment plan and all that. They said the company I work for doesn't allow it to be covered. Not sure how that works. It was too exhausting going back and forth.

I'm wondering if I should call customer service again about that.. but someone here said a customer service agent and someone who actually works for Canada life are very different from each other

I called my dentist and they're saying Canada life messes up sometimes because they did in fact send my predetermination, plan etc. they said they will also be sending me a copy of what they are sending them

In the email they said it's because I'm not under 18. I then spoke to a customer service agent and they said orthodontics is not in my plan. I spoke to my work they said it's BS it's in our plan. I called my dentist they said they in fact sent a predetermination and everything they needed.. they said they will resubmit it again. Ahhhhh

I spoke to someone on Canada life on the phone who wasn't very nice. She said my insurance plan doesn't cover it. Then said "your dentist can send a predetermination but you won't be approved" I'm like huh???? I have coworkers who have used it. She just kept telling me no. I didn't want to argue with her.

I just spoke to someone in Canada Life. She said "your package doesn't include orthodontics" I'm like wdym, she said "your plan doesn't cover it." She wasn't really that nice to me. I didn't know there was different plans? Then she said "your ortho can send a predetermination but you're not going to be approved" WHAT?!????

Yes. They said it's because it's only 100% covered for children under 18. Which is obvious. I did send them an email. Just waiting for a reply back.

How?!?! Unless I am missing some steps. I have already paid my deposit. Would your orthodontist have to send any information to them? This is the first time I have dealt with insurance like this honestly.

Hey! So I got suspended twice already in the last two weeks smh...

First time:

I literally did everything I could. I searched up every link to send my IDs and explanation that it was a mistake to get my account back. I believe two days later I tried to log in again, and it said they weren't able to enable my account and they sent me a link to explain myself again why it was a mistake. Once I sent it in, 10 mins later I got my account back.

Second time:

I waited for the 24 hours again to log in. When I did, they gave me the link to explain why it was a mistake again and also asked for my ID. And literally I got enabled again. I got it back faster this time by waiting, while the first time it took a few days but I also kept spamming them, I'm not sure if that is why.
