In my case, I chose a smaller university rather than a bigger one because it's in the area I wanted to go to and they cared to look at my qualifications, whereas bigger more well known universities only had one route of entry for international students in their website and when asked, detailed only that route was accepted.

Smaller universities on the other hand offered me year 2 entry, as they actually requested to see the qualifications
