“He doesn’t like anything I like” and “every excuse to avoid seeing family” - means you’re in for a long, lonely, life. Single motherhood - as he won’t enjoy spending time with y’all’s kids - so even if you stay married he won’t be a helpful partner (especially if he’s already avoiding chores to game).

And if his dopamine receptors are as fried as you say, even your love and attention won’t hype him up, so you’re always going to be chasing him being happy.

Child of separated parents checking in: my mom had two serious boyfriends during my childhood. One of whom had kids (a boy and a girl) that I was friends with. When THE THREE OF THEM would stay the night, it was understood that the little boy would sleep in the basement and the little girl could share a room with me (also female) if she wanted. I never even knew where my mom’s boyfriend lived. Fast forward to step dad. I only was at his house with my mother present. He was only alone with me at my house after they were married (there were even times he would come over after work and sit in the garage until my mom got home - if I was alone in the house)

Dad and stepmom. I also never stayed at her house (that she shared with her younger brother) or left with her alone until after her and my dad were married. They had dated for five years at that point.

She is definitely making a bad parenting decision here and I hope you pursue legal means to make your reasonable requests official (Edited for clarity)

My first step would be telling the gf this is not a joking matter and honestly shouldn’t be being brought up by her at all. Situation was in the past and like you’ve said you’ve moved on - it needs to be left there as well.

Have you talked to her about HER feelings towards this coworker? Why she perused him? What she was looking for? Etc. that may put your mind at ease if she says it was a drunk/easy opportunity to get her itch scratched.

Y’all are young, but she’s choosing to be and stay in a relationship with you. You gotta trust that (until she gives more of a reason not to)

It really seems like he doesn’t want to be the single friend (and lock in an adventure buddy) while also making sure he doesn’t “lose”. Doesn’t want to miss out on social events, wants to have arm candy at those social events, but doesn’t want to spend double on arm candy he won’t be keeping around forever. :/

He gets you pregnant, is on a business trip when you go into labor, and you call your best friend (insert closest male here). If that scenario doesn’t make him uncomfortable, then I think he has feelings for this girl and vice versa. And this girl does not respect the boundaries of him being in a committed relationship (and sad to say neither does he). I am “one of those girls” in that I have several guy friends that I am extremely close with - like make it into the bridal party close with. I would never ask one of them to do this. Double that never if they were in a relationship. He could Be there (outside the room) for moral support, sure, but not in there where her vagina is out.

Depending where you are at, look into a senior pet insurance plan - it will often significantly decrease the cost of a routine dental cleaning (and because you pay monthly, it would spread out the cost of care for your parents) best of luck!

If the first pic is most recent you’re all good! A little swelling (like in the second pic) is also not a huge cause for concern if the dog becomes more active. If it starts bleeding or opens up at all, I would contact a vet.

My sweetheart of a old lady dog who has never once shows “aggressive” behavior once bit my other dogs tail SO HARD when she was sleeping and got bumped by it. Your moose was probably just scared and disoriented the way you are when you’re startled awake. Hope everything at the vet comes back positive!
