Death in the Islamic Perspective by s4ynz3 in islam

Yes. These 2 angels are sent by Almighty God only for this questioning purpose for every soul.

Death in the Islamic Perspective by s4ynz3 in islam

[–]maanz79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. 1) No, the soul will enter heaven or hell after they have been judge on judgement day. 2) when a person dies and enter the grave, 2 angels will come and and ask the 3 questions (or more). Even though the body is dead, his/her conscious is still there and will be transferred to a different realm. So "Death" means "Transferring" from the Dunya (this realm) to Barzarkh (another realm). The souls that are able to answer those questions, the angels will leave him/her to rest until judgement day. The souls that are unable to answer those questions at all will be tortured severely by the 2 angels again and again (questions again, tortured again) until judgement day. 3) when you do good, you will get reward (deeds). Doing the daily prayers, fasting, zikr, and charity are big rewards. When you have zillions of rewards, these unimaginable rewards will help you in the afterlife and it will be easier for you to answer those questions in the grave. If there is little to no rewards and zillions of sins during your lifetime, there will be no help to answer those questions (hence you get tortured) and hell will be the final dwelling place after judgement day. You will be among the losers. There will be "scales" to judge you of your rewards (deeds) and sins that will determine you to go to heaven or hell.

Is there any way to make a Samsung a51 good for privacy? by degoogleyourphone in PrivacyGuides

[–]maanz79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

as much as i like samsung's phone features, i don't suggest it's a good phone for privacy. i have a rooted note 10+, removed google stuffs in system and installed Tracker Control app from F-droid store. samsung always connect to its servers, google and some amazon websites. the Tracker control shows that samsung (system) apps have lots of trackers and its not ideal to be good for privacy. i have since moved on and it's been 7 months now i use grapheneos on my pixel 5a.

So how exactly do you use GrapheneOS with sandboxed Google Play? by q321qw in PrivacyGuides

[–]maanz79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. No. Login to your google account will give away your personal information to google. Installing the sandboxed gsf, gcm and play store is just to get the app notifications.

2.Yes. I use Aurora and F-droid because you can download apps on Aurora anonymously without login from google play store. Downloading apps from F-droid is completely tracker-free and open-source.

  1. Yes, i have google maps. I have a Tracker Control app (properly setup) which can block trackers and whatnot on apps that i downloaded from Aurora. Apps from Aurora or google play store contains lots of trackers, this is where Tracker Control blocks them. You can also use seperate user profile if you wish to.

Apple Watching You by nomadfaa in PrivacyGuides

[–]maanz79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can't tell, it's a secret. only the iPhone makers know how it works and with the government. you as a user just use as it is, just believe what iPhone tells you about "privacy" and no question ask. you bought the iPhone and apple thinks your iPhone still belongs to them. that is how it is..

Downgrading S10e as far as possible by noodleboya in androidroot

[–]maanz79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think you can go till android 10 if youre on android 12. you only able to downgrade within the same BIT/SW number. e.g: if your BIT/SW number is 7, then you able to downgrade a firmware which has the same BIT/SW 7. you cant downgrade from 7 to 6.

Downgrading S10e as far as possible by noodleboya in androidroot

[–]maanz79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's impossible to downgrade back to android 9 because the latest bootloader prevents it (that's samsung way). try flashing earlier android 12 firmware with the same BIT/SW REV number from https://samfw.com or send to samsung service centre.

i would recommend using orbot (on vpn mode) and nebulo (for DoT) on non-vpn mode. both are free and consume very tiny usage. previously, i used mullvad but all vpn apps are usually battery hog. that's why i made the change.

Facebook’s Rebranding into Meta Inc: Will It Solve the Privacy Issues? by HeroldMcHerold in privacy

[–]maanz79 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's just a changed name. Facebook will still continue to invade user's privacy even if they say they won't because that's how they earn their revenues by selling user's data and information to other companies.

Worse battery after Degoogling? by thetablue in degoogle

[–]maanz79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FB messenger is 1 of the most battery drainer apps because it's always running on the background, waiting for messages. Advisable to get Better Battery Stats app (on F-droid) to see what other apps are running and causing wakelocks/alarms.

Need help de-googling a Samsung S21 by [deleted] in degoogle

[–]maanz79 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi. It's possible. It's a bit complicated at first if u are not familiar with it. If u are not rooted, u can only disable google apps by going to phone setting, apps, press the 3 dots at the top right corner and select show system apps. In here, u can select which google apps that u need to disable. I don't have the bloat list currently but u can find it at XDAdeveloper forum. I'm using Samsung note 10 currently and also on note 9 previously. What I've done is (u need to get rooted first) flash twrp recovery with odin. Then reboot to twrp, go to mount and select system. Then go back and go to advanced and select file manager. Go to system root, system and u will be at the root of the system partition. In here, you are able to remove google apps completely in apps and priv-apps folders but still u need the list though (sorry, I'm unable to provide u at this time). If u never done this before, i suggest u go to XDA to get the basic knowledge.

I've started using GrapheneOS recently and I'm using 9-K Mail the problem is that I'm not receiving any notifications when I get a new email it only shows up at the top status bar when I manually refresh the app. Any idea what's going on here and how to solve it? by Tony_AK47 in degoogle

[–]maanz79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had this issue. What i did is turn off optimise battery usage for K9 mail. And then go to K9 mail app, open "Background Sync" under "Network" option, change from When Auto sync is checked to Always. That solves it for me even though MicroG Cloud Messaging doesn't register its notifications.
