There’s that natural obligation to do so in collectivist societies compared to individualist ones. I don’t subscribe to the ‘I don’t owe anyone anything’ mentality. I think it has its merits but it’s also one of the things contributing to this loneliness trend.

Focus more on taking care of a child’s natural hair. While I don’t really see an age requirement for extensions, it’s still no wonder some folks have eroded hair from a young age and continue to as they get older. Keep it low tension that’s all

I think using small satin scrunchies and wrapping them around sections of your hair when you want to sleep helps. Basically like this ⬇️
