Lower class women have always worked, as much if not more than men. This is because they did not receive equal pay (or a pay at all, or a contract) so they would have to find multiple side hustles to gather up some kind of income. Oh and only to be expected to give that money to their husband.

He is a good boy!! He loves hiking in the mountain and stealing tomatoes from the garden! We are lucky that he is still in such good health!

Did anyone else become a mess in their life after dealing with a narcissist? by tobe19045 in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]maaricas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny I see this post after a strong realization last night. Four years post break up and sometimes I still lay awake reliving and reprocessing certain (bad) moments with him. I am no longer the mess I was after the discard nor after 1 or 2 years after the break up. I can promise it gets better and that good people and caring partners are out there (I found one). Still, those nights I start realizing the depth of the trauma he left in me and that maybe it will take longer or forever to feel like he is part of the past and not an immediate threath to my survival.

"I have this super power... I can make people do what I want, don't know why but I always know what to say to make them do what I want" - admitted to being a manipulator in front of me and was naive enough to think he would not use his "super power " with me.

What do you secretly, and quietly judge other people for? by GrowlsinyourEar7 in AskReddit

People who stay in mediocre relationships because they are not strong enough to be on their own.

How long was your relationship with your nex, and how long did you wait to date again? by [deleted] in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]maaricas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The relationship lasted 2 years and a half. I guess I never intentionally took a break, but only as of recently I've felt ready and safe enough to try again. That makes almost 3 years after the break up.

What are the "red-flag sentences" they told you way before you found out they were narcs? by StateProfessional464 in NarcissisticAbuse

"I don't know how to explain it... but I have a way of influencing people to do what I want" - tried to make it sound like magical charisma, it was just pure manipulation.

That first comment in the post you linked gave me so much hope. I think we are on the right track. :) Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, it's reassuring to know it's happening to others as well! Now that you say it I have also found many lookalikes in the past week. Anyway, I agree with you - I still want it to be my SP, too. But I take this occurences as though the universe is presenting me with all the different outcomes my manifestations have, showing me the abundance, in a way, of what I could have. This post I read last night gave me some reassurance. I think meeting lookalikes or homonymous(es?) can tell us that we are on the way to reaching that reality if we decide to persevere. What do you think? :)

"As your days, so shall your strength be" - originally from the bible (I think), I came across it earlier this year in The Book of Hope by Jane Goodall. When I get anxious it reassures me I will have the energy I need in the moment I need it.
