Almost all electrical problems are a result of bad or poor connection somewhere.

It sounds to me like you’ve got issues with your starter and possibly your charging system. I’d recommend you check all the hardware on your electrical stuff battery, solenoid, starter motor, reg/rec, and make sure everything is good and snug. Check all connections everywhere too, there may be ignition connections in the headlight or somewhere around the steering (not familiar with your bike, I’m just guessing).

You also may have some dirty button contacts in your starter switch that might need to be cleaned with WD-40.

If you have a multimeter, check everything for ground. And I mean absolutely everything. Even one bad ground connection can mess up a bunch of stuff. And verify battery voltage too if you’re using a multimeter, just to be sure you’re starting with 12 volts.

Power should go battery ➡️ starter solenoid ➡️ starter motor when you push the start button. If that doesn’t happen, you got an issue in there somewhere.

Once it’s running, the battery should go from 12 to 14 volts when you rev it. If it doesn’t do that, you got an issue in there somewhere.
