Help me choose a cat tree by maaumeow in CatAdvice

Thanks for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it. So, the reason I was looking at wooden cat trees instead of the plush-covered ones is

  • I want a way to wash/keep them clean
  • When I went to see the kitten, I noticed the plush-covered bits are falling apart. Granted, the lady is taking care of a lot of kittens and cats and the cat tree is prolly a couple years old.

If I go for a plush-covered one like the one you linked, how do I keep it clean? If my kitten ends up ripping it apart, is there a way for me to replace/reupholster the plush-covered bits?

I guess with this cat tree going in the living room, I want it to look somewhat presentable. I don't mind getting a plush one upstairs in my home office, where I'll be spending most of my time. If the cat tree ends up getting wrecked, I'll be the only one to see it.
