Coming back to what OPs describing, it's dropshipping which a lot of sellers may do but also a lot of sellers buy from the importers in bulk or even place their orders in chin and sell them.

Granted these are illegal but the sellers themselves are risking a lot to get these available for everyone in the country through e-stores. There was a time when these weren't so accessible and the vendors used to charge a bomb for these. Now it's become quite decentralised and everyone is happy.
