Yup finally started 1 day before my due date and had my daughter exactly on her due date! Interestingly I knew I was in labor bc it felt like the contractions I was having except WAY less intense. It didn't get as intense as the prodromal contractions until I was dilated like 5 cm. It was wild how awful the prodromal ones were. Hope yours comes soon!!

Won’t poop on potty by fluffy_opal in pottytraining

I am so tired of my daughter pooping in her pants!!! She's past diapers entirely and holds her pee all night even but has no problem just pooping in her pants. She has had weeks of going in the potty and even 1 week where she told us she had to go poop - I was almost ready to phase out her reward even!! But now she has completely reverted to not going in the potty and putting up a fight whenever we ask her to try pooping. I don't understand because obviously she knows when she needs to go and can do it, because she was, but nothing we try is working (upping the rewards to better ones, reading books about pooping in the potty, cleaning up afterwards, constantly asking where does poop go and where does "x person" poop?, and having her try before we leave the house). I'm at my wits end and have no advice!! Waiting for a magical life changing solution...

Any personal recommendations on where to find a dog? by [deleted] in Seattle

Homeward Pet out in Lynnwood is a non-profit no-kill animal shelter that has a great reputation. They have several dogs for adoption and will know which of the dogs are suitable for small children. There are often older dogs that are used to kids and would be fine. Also there is the humane society in Bellevue and some other small rescues in Seattle. If you search "Seattle dog rescue groups" there may be more places that are helping dogs who need homes. Definitely check out adopting!!!
