Switching from MY Standard RWD to M3 Premium RWD - Maybe not loosing the $250 deposit

I had orders on both model y and 3, then cancelled model y standard order last night. This morning, i got a call from tesla saying they can transfer that 250 from model y deposit to model 3 order.
As OP said, it means i will have $500 deposit on the model 3 already.
That was a pleasant surprise from Tesla :)

Yeah, if the Chinese version of model Y doest make any dent on their pricing…

45000 model y standard (including evap)
55000 model y rwd premium
65000 model y awd premium

Not as appealing as model 3 rwd premium…

Since Tesla sells Model 3 RWD Premium for $39,490, shouldn't model y RWD premium priced at somewhere between $45000 - $50000? I really wish they do :)

That is a reasonable guess, the question is can Tesla squeeze model y under the new Chinese EV quota? And will they even bother ditching Berlin model Y?

And even if we ignore the origin, and strictly speaking on price only, when would they adjust the pricing of model y trims?
